American Postal Workers Union Condemns DNC Attack on Sanders Campaign

The APWU joins with all fair-minded individuals and organizations in condemning the Democratic National Committee (DNC) attack on the Bernie Sanders campaign for U.S. president.  At a crucial time in the primary process, the Sanders campaign is arbitrarily being denied access to the DNC voter data base from all 50 states. This includes crucial voter information files that belong to the Sanders campaign.

The actions of the DNC are simply an effort to undermine the Sanders campaign, which has captured the imagination and support of millions of people. The DNC action is an attempt to rig the election.

We encourage all people who believe in democracy, no matter their affiliation or candidate of choice, to voice their outrage, sign petitions and demand that the Bernie Sanders campaign have access to the DNC voter files fully restored.

“We, the People,” deserve nothing less.

I am writing to register my outrage at the behavior of the DNC and it’s blatant bias towards Hilary Clinton. I was already concerned with the lack of debates and the stupid debate times that were so obviously arranged to minimize exposure to the lesser known candidate. I had been prepared to vote for Hilary if the campaign was carried out in a fair manner. However, this issue with the data lock up so conveniently leaked hours before the debate, is the final straw for me. I and everyone I know in will write in Sanders for president.

I am ashamed to align myself with a party that stoops to these lows that we so criticize in the other party.

As a Washington state resident and life long Democrat I sincerely hope that the state committees will lodge a complaint with the national party and demand the resignation of Debbie Wasserman as she has made me and thousands of others question the our affiliation to party.

I’m from Washington state as well and go along with you 100%. Debbie Wasserman should have been fired a long time ago! The DNC is supposed to promote “all candidates” but she has been very vocal in supporting Hillary Clinton to the detriment of Bernie Sanders!

I am proud of the 2 posts before me! (from Dems in WA State) I too am a Washington state resident. I’ve NEVER been political until I heard Bernie speak. (months before he announced – to my elation!)

This is the last straw with me. I always liked Debbie before this campaign started. She is so transparent in her efforts to shield Hillary Clinton. She needs to go, she can not be impartial.
