The FBI will finally get their chance to talk to Hillary Clinton according to Daily Caller.
Clinton is reportedly set to meet with the investigators in Washington D.C. on Saturday and this news comes on the heels of a week of news cycle domination about the meeting between her husband and former President Bill Clinton and sitting Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
Earlier today Attorney General Lynch said she regrets meeting privately with Bill Clinton and that her meeting has “cast a shadow” on the ongoing investigation.
“I certainly wouldn’t do it again because I think it has cast this shadow over what it should not, over what it will not touch,” Lynch said Friday during an appearance at the Aspen Ideas Festival.
The long awaited interview is thought to be the final step in the department’s investigation into Clinton’s use of a private server while she was Secretary of State.
The FBI has previously interviewed several Clinton aides, including her deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin. Abedin’s deposition was made public on Wednesday by watchdog group Judicial Watch.
