The long awaited and much anticipated interview between Hillary Clinton and the FBI took place this morning in Washington D.C.
CNN reports that the interview lasted approximately three and a half hours and that the FBI has declined to comment about it.
Most people will not know for a while exactly what was said or what were asked but one thing is clear, the Clinton campaign is STILL misleading the American public about the FBI investigation.
Can someone explain to the Clintons that the FBI does not do security inquiries or reviews? Hillary Clinton and her campaign made that phrase up as a way to soften the word “investigation.” A review sounds much more pleasant that an investigation right? Here’s what her campaign had to say after the interview:
“Secretary Clinton gave a voluntary interview this morning about her email arrangements while she was Secretary. She is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion. Out of respect for the investigative process, she will not comment further on her interview,” Nick Merrill, a Clinton spokesman, said in a statement.

Back in May FBI director James Comey made it crystal clear that his department was not doing a security inquiry or a review. In fact he said he doesn’t even know what those phrases mean.
“I don’t know what that means,” Comey told reporters today in Washington, D.C. “We’re conducting an investigation. That’s the bureau’s business. That’s what we do.”
For several months Comey has said this probe was an investigation.
The word “investigation” — “it’s in our name,” Comey responded. “And I’m not familiar with the term ‘security inquiry.’”
