Sanders Surprised Clinton Now Opposes Family and Medical Leave Act

CHARLESTON, S.C. – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Saturday issued the following statement:

“I am disappointed that Secretary Clinton does not think we should join every other major country in guaranteeing health care through a cost-effective, Medicare-for-all, single-payer system that would save the average family about $5,000 a year.

“Further, I am surprised that Secretary Clinton now opposes Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s Family and Medical Leave Act which is supported by 19 other Senate Democrats and more than 100 House Democrats.”

“The middle class is disappearing and we need bold action to rebuild it.”

I am surprised about a lot of things going on within the democratic party. Has the easy money won their best judgement? They may as well join the republicans. 1000’s have already pledged to write in Bernie Sanders name during the national election if that has to be. The people have spoken.

Bernie Sanders for President is in the best interest of the 99%. A vote for Hillary Clinton is in the best Interest of the 1%. Feel the Bern

This is why I’m voting and supporting Bernie 100%, because he’s consistent and doesn’t flip flop like Hillary. Everyday Hillary sounds more Republican to me and she’s shown her ties with Wallstreet and the Banks and we have to stop all this greed and inequality we are living in this fascist system we have now. Democracy turned into Oligarchy, what a shame! Hillary will perpetuate the actual Establishment and we all want real change as progressives and left liberals! Democratic Socialism is the way! Go Bernie!!! #FeeltheBern #BernieorBust

I’m not surprised in the least. I believe she is a corporate democrat and will say or do anything she needs to in order to become president. I just wish those supporting her would take the time to really view her history because they would realize that they are supporting the wrong candidate. I support Bernie Sanders for president! GO BERNIE GO!

To fully understand and come to terms as to what motivates Hillary Clinton to flip flop her way through this presidential run, you need to follow the money and watch this video:

Ok.. this is total bullshit. Those are NOT direct quotes from Bernie and he says absolutely NOTHING about Hillary opposing maternity leave. What kind of YELLOW JOURNALISM is this ???

Jesus, it’s like she knows democrats aren’t going to vote for her, so she might as well go please republicans.

I am doing the same… The problem is even if he gets the popular vote he won’t have the electoral collage of he’s not the nominee but I will not vote for Hillary our the rethuglicans who have proven time and time again they don’t really care about us…
