A spokesman for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders says that Sanders is planning to continue his campaign for the Democratic nomination.

According to Bloomberg News, campaign spokesman Michael Briggs said Sanders does not plan to drop out “today, or tomorrow, or the next day”.

“He has said that he plans to stay in this through the Democratic Convention,” Briggs said.

Briggs also goes on to say that the campaign is still figuring out what Sanders will do between now and July 25, when then convention starts. “We’re figuring that out,” he said.

Briggs pointed to a meeting with Clinton this evening that will help give the campaign a little clearer picture as to what the future holds. While Clinton probably expects Sanders to offer his endorsement tonight, that doesn’t seem to be in the cards.

Briggs continues, “We’re meeting with Secretary Clinton this evening and we’ll see how that goes and where things stand after that, and make some decision about the future based on more intelligence about where we’re going.”
