Sign Bernie’s Petition to Uphold DNC Ban on Special Interest Money

Bernie 2016

WE MUST KEEP BIG MONEY OUT OF POLITICS

Add your name to uphold DNC ban

Sign Bernie’s petition HERE

Eight years ago, then-Senator Barack Obama took the noble step of banning contributions to the Democratic National Committee from lobbyists and special interest PACs. This week, the DNC reversed that ban, and we believe that’s an unfortunate step backward.

Add your name to tell the Democratic National Committee you support the restrictions put in place by President Obama that outlaw lobbyist and special interest PAC contributions.

I have given regularly to the DNC in the past. Garbage like this decision is why I haven’t donated this year.

I believe lobbying is BRIBERY. The DNC must cut it’s ties to lobbyist’s and PACs. The DNC must once again re-unite with the people in order to survive as a viable party.

Corporate money should not be included in our political process and the DNC welcoming it raises many questions about the integrity of our political system and the party itself. This is not a way to encourage people to take part in the political system and will turn off many voters.

The DNC is destroying the Democratic Party. It has to stop. We will not allow you to rig our elections, give all the Super delegates to Clinton or have even more big money in politics. We will write Sanders in or vote green if this behavior does not stop. You will not win by treating your own voters like this.

Our democracy should give each of us equal opportunity to have a voice — and government should look out for all of us. Unlimited campaign spending allows corporations and just the top 1% of Americans to rig the system in their own favor and against the remaining 99% of our citizens.

You are really sounding more like the Republican Party, and don’t think you realize how many people no longer respect your organization.

You people might as well be republicans. When will you get it? We want the democratic party to return to the party of fair, honest. and above reproach, and for the average American, not money. Your greed and crookedness and pandering has screwed it up so bad it takes an Independent to show you what your supposed to be. DNC give that PAC money back and campaign fair. Lose honorably and let Bernie Sanders straighten things out for 4 years while you get your stuff together.

    (D) Debbie Wasserman Schultz lobbying with (D) Charles Schumer against Obama’s Iran deal pretty much sums up the DNC’s intent. Continued destabilazion in the Mid-East to this end, DNC opaqely rigging the electoral votes. Much like Bush-Gore and Supreme court justice Scallia deciding that Bush “won”. They {lobbies} and the DNC want continued destabilization in the Mid-East which equals US weapons sales. Typical of any corporate business oriented organizaion that purports to be “Democratic”, anything but. I ran for city council in Dallas Texas and the mayor, who is a millionaire CEO of Pizza Hut, and plugged into that gig by real estate special interest groups, endorsed/and or funded his candidates in every district with entent to pass billion dollar projects for the real estate groups over the opposing voices of the people in every district. The mayor’s endorsed candidates just lied to the voters and once in office, unanimously passed two of the specific mayoral special interest projects that the people of the districts vehemiently opposed. Sickening. It would only be appropriate that it exists in the upper Party echelons. I’ll write in Bernie. He’s mad and so am I about this nepotistic, hipocrytic, capitalistic entity that still flys under the banner of “Democracy”, anything but, it’s blatant Oligarthy. Hillary would mean a continuation of The Bushs-Obama Petro-wars of destabilization in the Balkans/Middle-East. Just watch the video of Secratary of State Hillary Clinton squealing with glee over Gadaffi’s extra-judicial field execution. He was only executed because Libya would not take US dollars for oil. Just like Saddam before him, no US dollars for oil. Iran, in gratitude of 37 years of sanctions being lifted, announced two days ago that they would only take Euros for all the released billions from the oil companies and banks. Thanks, but no US dollars, and rightfully so.
Any entity that won’t accept US dollars is labeled in all media a “bad guy” and all the Juggernaugt’s wheels turn in their direction to crush them. Enough is enough. The time is now.

I agree with you! Justice Scallia stopped the vote count to favor the BUSH, I was so disgusted when this happened. I did not even want to vote in future elections due to the discouragement from previous elections. With prayers hope for Mr. Obama wining and we voted for him and justice for once again prevailed!

Senator Sanders is honest about the system being rigged…it always has been. But now that the Senator has begun this revolution, We The People must unite and push harder than ever to have a say in what the Economic Model should become. As it is, and has been for a very long time, the Model represents a direction through an undying mantra that demands “more, more, more” which very subtly translates into an unconscious dialogue within each of us who strive to survive by submitting to a fear that their is not enough for everyone. It is a mantra that dictates an unchallenged script onto all aspects of society: more weapons, more children, more money, bigger houses, more shopping centers…until the Trumps of the world think “the one with the most toys wins”! I no longer open any mail from the DNC, Hillary Clinton, the “Democrats” or Nancy Pelosi. I’m over these operatives in Washington who feel entitled to the point of thinking that we, the electorate, are stupid and that we owe them our loyalty. Guess what? Thank you Senator Sanders for standing up for We The People.
