NBC’s Latest Poll Just as Flawed as Their Previous Polls
The Friday poll headlines all seemed to say the same thing. “Clinton Storms to Huge Lead”, “Clinton Soars While Sanders Stalls”….etc, etc.

In what has become almost too predictable, when Bernie has a lot of media attention, as he did with the appearance on The View this week and the announcement that he will seek to remove the federal government from your stash, they, the media, counter. They counter with head-scratching polls. Almost every time.
But once again the numbers in the polls and the real world support don’t quite add up. They don’t tell the real story. What seems to be lost on the Mainstream media is that Bernie Sanders’ support does not come from the people that have voted Democrat religiously for the last 40 years. His support comes from the millennials and from the politically disenchanted who gave up on the system years and sometimes decades ago. Not many of them are counted in any polls we’ve seen and the few polls that do include those voices, which by the way is the majority voice in this country, he’s ahead in all of those.
On one hand, while it can be a little frustrating watching a supposedly fair and unbiased media[trying not to laugh here] network, actually almost all of them, campaigning for Clinton by pushing these questionable polls, it actually doesn’t really mean a thing – the polls that is. Actually it pours more gasoline on the fire among Sanders supporters because there is a growing number of them that know how flawed the polls can be.
Have you ever sat down and really thought about why the media wants her so bad? I have a theory about why the media is pushing so hard for Clinton. They likely know she is a train wreck waiting to happen with years of juicy headlines just ready to come out. Bernie on the other hand is way too much of a feel good story. The networks want blood, guts and dishonor – it’s all for ratings you see.
Also, keep in mind that these networks are likely aware of the fact that Bernie has more support than Clinton does and that his supporters are very passionate, so they do some trolling and they know they will get clicks. This is “Polling Season” and one imagines the networks have people sitting around in think-tanks trying to come up with as much “shock” and “awe” as possible. And they are damn good at it. The irony is that the Bernie Sanders supporters in their anger and disgust spread these biased polls and articles far and wide on social media and the networks love it.
The other day during an interview with Thomas Robert on MSNBC Bernie was asked to respond to the latest Iowa poll that showed Clinton out in front by 41 points. When Robert’s pushed the poll up on the screen, Sanders responded, “I would be worried about them if they were accurate, there are good polls and there are bad polls. I will take the Des Moines Register Poll which is the Gold Standard for polls in Iowa.”
If you look at any poll that allows you to set a filter for the younger crowd or those that buck the two-party system and identify as “Independent”…Bernie Sanders is ahead in all of those categories.
I’ll hand it to thew New York Times though, at least they mentioned that Iowa poll that came out earlier this week was not fair to Sanders. Read HERE
As far as Bernie’s support. Sure he’s missing the endorsement of some of the union leaders but he’s not lacking in the support of the rank and file. Sure, he’s missing the support of the establishment politicians but he’s not lacking when it comes to their constituents. The truth of the matter is that the only polls that show Hillary Rodham Clinton ahead are heavily weighted towards registered, die-in-the-wool Democrats.
If you need further proof of what is REALLY going on in this country, just ask the college kids, they’ll tell you. If the younger crowd votes this time, Bernie Sanders will be the next President of The United States no matter how many endorsements Clinton has, how much money she has or how many corporate media networks want her.
