The Inner Fears of the Clinton Campaign

The latest anti Bernie Sanders talking point reveals the inner fears of the Clinton Campaign.

“Bernie Sanders’ attacks could leave a mark on Hillary Clinton”

First of all, let’s not forget that this message is being disseminated down by the same political machine that has, among other things, tried to blame Sanders for the Sandy Hook shootings. It is hard to imagine that anyone could charge an innocent man with the senseless deaths of 26 people. Definitely #NotMyAbuela.

Painting Bernie as an “attacker” is no mistake either. The Clinton campaign knows, full well, that part of her appeal to voters is that many people would like to see a woman finally become president. I’m one of them (just #NeverHillary). However, when phrases that include, “attack” and “make a mark”, are being used to describe the life long humanist Bernie Sanders,…… “flag on the play”.

Bernie hasn’t spoken in a way that resembles violence or hatred. Instead he has been very cautious in his approach to Hillary’s constant baiting, often brushing off the latest slight, and pivoting back to his message (which is a damn good one). His most pointed charge has been that, “Maybe, Hillary isn’t qualified to become president because of her vote for the Iraq War.” And let’s be real here, Bernie Sanders makes a good point. It certainly does appear to be an open and shut case.

Clinton says she was “tricked” by George W. Bush. Soooooo yeah,…… Disqualified to run the country….. sounds fair to me.

The real take away here, is that the Clinton machine fears its own past. It has been censoring here, and distributing false narratives there, all in an attempt to draw us away from a harsh reality. Hillary Clinton has done some pretty inexcusable things during her quest for money and power. One thing is for sure. There is definitely someone that doesn’t seem to be worried about the mark they are leaving.
